About

James Anderson is a graphic designer and artist. After a misspent youth studying to become an engineer he decided that it was colouring-in that really thrilled him.

Problem was though that his engineering and mathematical background had affected the way he drew things forever.. It was now impossible to draw anything without adding a centreline or orthographic expansion to things like bagels and bridges.

He hates swirly vector illustration and has a deep mistrust of anyone using autotrace.

He loves maps.

He’s worked with some brilliant people & companies in the past and has tried to pass on as much knowledge as he has taken. Upcoming projects include persuading the Scottish Dept for Education to teach Mandarin instead of French and a script for a movie called The Tooter the Sweeter about a cockney who likes it when things happen on time or before that time.
